Welcome to my texture library. Realistic 3D models depend a grat deal on their surface qualities. Objects that are suposed to be made of wood, should look wooden. Metalics, plastics, fabrics and organics .. all must both convince the viewer and contribute to the visual richness of a 3D scene.

Texture maps are central to this requirement. Usually taken from photographic or scanned sources, sometimes generated using computer simulations of surface patterns and qualities (called Procedural textures),

3D afficianados create and collect vast collections of texture images, the wider their texture pallettes, the great freedom of expression they will have in their work

This page is a showcase of some of my own texture files, as well as a source of tips for generating your own
