WestBar is situated on the westerly route
out of the city centre. It's also the home of Sheffields
Police and Fire Service Museum (redbrick building shown
above).
It was the central fire station at the turn of the 20th
century but is now open to visitors wishing to tour an
excellent collection of antique fire engines.
The tall building behind the fire station remains the
administrative headquarters of the police force. Across
the road is a large office complex belonging to HSBC. |
