Dear online diary... type thing, nothing really happened. My alarm woke us up unnecessarily early. Naturally, I turned it off and we all overslept. Leo didn't mind, the later-than-usual bus was a double-decker. That's a big win for him.
Saturday: We took the boys took the boys to Rother Valley Park, given that it has a mini train line, a pretty good playground, and some handsome man-made lakes. It took me back to my occasional attempts at windsurfing, many years ago.
Clara took Noah to George's birthday party, at Castaway Cove. I took Leo to the swimming baths, which he barely tolerated. Leo: "Don't like! Don't LIKE!" Sketches: I completed another round of ship drawings, deciding on the depiction of the Andrew Bolton-class Cruiser, along with its Gordon-class sloops.
At home: Clara working a late shift, back just in time for the boys' bedtime. We discussed the possibility that she might end up looking after the poor wretch who jumped from the Sheffield's main tram bridge, on Wednesday evening -- although she'd never acknowledge or discuss the matter if she did. I picked the boys up at 12:40 and took them to Hillsborough Park, which is just possibly becoming less of a pain. Looking after two boys with differing play interests is hard when you're an unapologetic helicopter parent who must hover close by at all times.
Work: About a week until release. Working through the last few tasks. Pressure pretty low, although beyond the specific tasks of the release there are a lot of things that need fixing or improving within the docs. Still, the new User Guide is a big improvement in terms of usability.
